Choirokitia village

In the beautiful community of Choirokitia you will find a renovated old traditional house of 1850 which converted into a Basket Weaving Workshop and Museum. There you find unique exhibits made of reed 'pokalami', and 'sklinitza' also watch how they are made from the hands of Mr. Petros Nikolaou who is the heart of the place. In the same premises you can see the traditional Farmhouse and watch how the  "halloumi" cheese was made by the grandfathers with the traditional way.

You can also book an authentic experience, a "Cyprus Breakfast" with reservation .You can also organize special events.
